AST PACKER SETTING TOOL

The AST setting tool can be used to run the string and set the packer. The tubing is connected to the setting tool to run the packer and tail pipe along with it. There are a shear-out ball seat and spare ball seat. The advantage of the tool is simplify the string. There are two release mechanisms. One is casing hydraulic release by apply pressure into the annulus, the other is mechanical release by apply right-hand rotation of the string.
