The SE tubing-retrievable safety valve (TRSV) is designed to prevent fluid flow to the surface uncontrollably and will close automatically when a well is failure. The safety valve is normally closed. The safety valve can be opened by hydraulic control pressure and remains open until the control-line pressure is exhausted. The SE TRSV is a self-equalizing safety valve. To open the valve requires open the self-equalizing path and then equalize the pressure across the closure device. Once the pressure has been equalized across the flapper, the flapper can be opened easily. The SE TRSV has standard profile inside, which is designed to run or pull appropriate tools with standard slickline tools according to demand.
