The blast joint is used in the perforated section of the casing and in the tubing string of artesian well to prevent the tubing from being affected by fluid erosion. The blast joint maintains the same inner diameter and outer diameter of the coupling with the standard tubing to separate the erosion area from the standard tubing to the maximum extent to protect the standard tubing. The blast joint can be provided in 10ft or 20ft lengths, or special lengths on demand.
