The Hydraulic anchors is an anchoring device that can be expanded and retracted by hydraulic pressure. It is mainly used to anchor pipe string in downhole operations. The tool is hydraulically anchored in the casing to support the pipe string, ensure the stability during completion operations and effectively prevent the pipe string movement caused by changes in temperature, pressure, and load torque during construction. There are two types of anchor of hydraulic anchors, one is wicker and the other is carbide, which are respectively used for casings of different grades.
