The HBR Hydraulic Set Retrievable Packer is a single string packer to be used in high pressure, large ID or TCP applications. HBR packer can be used multiple bores or control line fee-through. The HBR Packer is installed with the completion tubing and is set by applying pressure to the tubing. The HBR packer is a straight shear-to-release packer that is convertible to cut to release. The shear release value is adjustable.

FEATURES:

Hydraulic setting, no need to rotate or lift the string during setting, and the dual-piston design reduces setting pressure and provides flexibility of operation in completions;
Large ID;
Single piece mandrel;
The sand screen is designed to prevent the upper sediment from accumulating on the upper slips and causing the slips to become stuck and corroded;
Straight-pull release, don’t need to run Retrieving Tool or rotate the string, the operation is simple. The tail design can be simply modified to Release the packer by cutting;
Straight-pull to release the packer and the release shear value can be adjusted;
When cutting to release the packer are used, the packer can be used as a permanent packer.
